Why Altamonte drivers come to us

Altamonte is a town of short trips. You are five minutes from a grocery run, ten from the office, and the car spends most of its life going back and forth on 436 collecting the same film of brake dust and pollen. A tunnel will take that off fast and put a fresh set of fine scratches in your clear coat doing it.

We are on the same road, fifteen minutes west. Uptown, the Springs, Spring Oaks, Sanlando, the streets off Wekiva Springs Road and the condo lots near Cranes Roost are all a straight run out Semoran. Drop it off, or wait with it, and it gets washed by hand rather than by machine.

What we bring, and what we need

We are about fifteen minutes west of Altamonte on E Semoran Blvd, which is the same road. No hose, no bucket and no Saturday afternoon gone. Plenty of our regulars drop the car propped open for an extension cord. If you would rather we used your spigot, that is genuinely fine and it saves us a tank refill.

What we need from you is one parking space, about three feet of walking room around the car, and shade if you have it. Under an oak beats the middle of a lot at two in the afternoon, for the car and for us.

A lot of Altamonte is condos and apartments where washing your own car on the property isn't allowed at all. That is exactly the gap we fill: bring it to the shop instead. Coming from the 434 side, it is a straight run west on Semoran, and the price is the same as it is for anyone else.

Two things show up on almost every car in this zip code. Love bugs, twice a year, which harden onto the front bumper and mirrors and want removing before they etch.
