What is different about detailing here

Three things worth knowing before your first visit.

You don't need an appointment for a quick wash. Pull in during opening hours and we'll take you in turn. For a full detail, call ahead on (407) 921-5477 so we can set the time aside. Last wash of the day goes in at 5:30pm.

The trees are the job. Live oaks are lovely and they drop constantly. Catkins in spring, sap in summer, and whatever the birds add on top. Sap left on hot paint stops being a wipe-off and starts being real work, so on cars parked under oaks we usually suggest a wax tier rather than the basic wash.

Dark paint tells on you. Winter Park has more black and dark gray cars than anywhere else on our route. Dark paint shows every swirl a dirty mitt puts in, which is why we wash with two buckets and clean towels per car and never a brush. It is slower. It is also the entire difference between a car that looks clean and a car that looks good.

Where we work in town

Olde Winter Park, Windsong, Lake Sue, Via streets, Aloma, Goldenrod and across into Baldwin Park. Office lots along Fairbanks and Orlando Avenue work too, as long as whoever runs the lot is happy and the space isn't blocking anyone for the afternoon.

On the brick streets

Apopka gets sun, love bugs twice a year and pollen every spring, which is exactly what a by-hand wash handles better than a tunnel. We will still work, we just plan the rinse differently.
